professionaldreamers is a small, independent publisher founded in 2009 that collects and promotes essays on space and society. It aims to publish high quality, original books from a variety of disciplines, including sociology, anthropology, geography, urban studies, architecture, landscape design, cultural studies, criminology, literary studies and philosophy.

Based in Italy, professionaldreamers is international in content, contribution, and readership. It publishes in English, French, and Italian. Its main aim is to build a vibrant scholarly community, in order to foster debate on issues of collective importance and stimulate empirical research about specific, meaningful cases. In particular, professionaldreamers promotes internationally knowledge about ongoing transformations of the Italian society through its spatial practices.

professionaldreamers works with both e-book distribution and on-paper edition. It subscribes to CreativeCommons and OpenAccess policies. It welcomes book proposals from like-minded people.
