Long Marchers on the Road

Long Marchers on the Road
Ho Chi Minh Trail
June 24, 2010, 6:00 am

Danshavan, Laos

International and local artists and thinkers embark on a journey along the Ho Chi Minh Trail in Vietnam, Cambodia, Laos and China. Two divisions will travel separately by train and by air to congregate at Phnom Penh, where their journey will begin. The project program remains confidential while reports of their journey will be dispatched regularly along the way.

June 24 is an OPEN CALL for marchers from all over the world to meet us at Danshavan, Laos at 6:00 am for a day-march on the Trail. Please contact lm@hochiminhtrailproject.com for more information.

Long March Project-Ho Chi Minh Trail (2008-2011) is not only a physical walk through a rhizomic network of trails between the four Asiatic countries; it is also a calling, an action, and a working site for dialogue, artistic production, and bodily experiences to reach a state of ‘a multitude of feelings.’ We invite you to follow our physical, artistic and discursive journey to re-sensitize historical consciousness, engage with the present and construct an extensive and disguised space of political economics in visual culture.

Please visit hochiminhtrailproject.com and ongoing database. Begin your walk with us now.
